I'm not to sold on the first image, the colours look very odd, especially the reflected sky, the other 2 work well, but would of liked to see more detail in the foreground of the 2nd

Have to agree about the colour of the first image....almost like it's been over-saturated to try to bring out the wintery colours. It just looks orange.

The second image though...now that's a belter.

70mm - f2.8 - 1/1250 - ISO1250 seems slightly unconventional but I quite like the second image.

Your re-edit of the first is much much better, but have to agree with what has been said regarding camera settings, what made you choose those settings?
