Hi,

I have a powersearcher telescope and would love to connect my canon 600d to it so I can take some nice photos.

What equipment would I need to connect one to the other? :)

Thanks

I can't find that telescope anywhere. Do you mean Power Seeker from Celestron?

What are you wanting to take pictures of? It can be a VERY frustrating and expensive hobby (been there, done that ;))

we really need to know what type of telescope it is and what size focuser it has in order to help with connecting you camera to it.

I would imagine its either a refractor or reflector type.

We also need to know the type of mount it uses, whether its alt-az, dobsonian or equatorial as these will make a difference to the type of objects you can try to image.

Thats the one! Sorry I forgot, im in work so couldnt remember the exact thing.

I just want to be able to zoom in on the moon and get some nice pics, or perhaps mars/venus (when the sky FINALLY gets clear, this rain is doing my head in, cant go out and photograph anything without getting totally drenched)

My 70-300mm tamron isnt too bad, but the sweet spot is apparantly 200mm but since no moon since I first had a play, I cant confirm.

Wish this weather would clear up, theres so many tips Ive learnt off you great people in TP that I havent been able to try them out :bang:
