Yes
a work friend as just asked me how he can do astro photography.
he says some of the planets jupiter are becoming very bright over the next few weeks
he as a large telescope with a large reflector and a tracking motor ( means nothing to me) and he was wondering how he could connect a dslr to it
and how he could photograph these planets as well as other far of galaxys
so any info will be welcome including what slr body to go for,, he cant stretch to 7d or 5d y so i suggested ilook at the classifieds on here for a pre owned body

Depends on the telescope.

Best and usual way is via a T ring that fits on the camera, then either a nose piece or SCT adaptor fits into the T ring to connect it.

If its a skywatcher reflector they usually have a T thread on the focuser so you can connect direct

ill find out exactly what he got and ill get back to you, be easier when we know what we are working with
