I don't think your camera connected to a telescope will help with your astrology

Shame you're not on about Astronomy. A friend has recently bought some nice kit.
Never knew you could use a camera/telescope to work out Horoscopes lol.

Depends on the scope and the camera but the answer is usually yes you can connect a DSLR to a telescope. I have a Skywatcher 80ED that is converted for birding and connected to any of my Canon DSLRs via a T2 to EOS adaptor. I have fitted an AF confirm chip in the adaptor but you would normally not require that for astro photography.

There are also sites aimed purely at astro photography and the post processing techniques required but the above will give you a good idea of the hardware required and how to connect it all together.
