Attempting Band Photography

Hi,

I'm trying to pick up my camera more, and seem to have ventured into shooting some bands.
First is an old friends new band; set in a working mens club so I've tried to black out as much of the shoddy background as I could.

All very good images, looks like you had a bit of a problem focussing on #3 as it looks a bit out of focus but you've got some really even colour tones going on.

#4 is my favoured one of the lot, what lenses we're you using?

Thanks for the comments, number 1 & 4 were with 50mm 1.8, the others were with 55-250IS. 1100D body
Yeah I agree with focus issue on #3 - Seem to have got his shoulder!

I'd say you've done pretty good there.

That drummer shot is excellent, in no small part down to the way the back lighting is highlighting the cymbals. Good effort on the guitarist in #4 too, I like the colouring, shame about the dudes head in the foreground.
