Burghley Horse Trials
I'm thinking of going on Saturday for the xc. I've never been before and was just wondering, how far is the parking away from the course, I know the course goes around the grounds but it would be nice if my car wasn't miles away from the course.
Is there the opportunity to get any front on shots, rather than side shots?
Is there just the one big water jump? and if so, can you park near there?
Oh, and am I liable to be falling over other photographers????
Will my lens be long enough to get in reasonably close? (70-200 + 1.4).
Any other tips etc appreciated. Hopefully, I'll have a nice little trolley to strap things to such as flask, picnic, small deckchair.
. I'll also take a rain cover for camera and lens.
Obviously, I'll take a mac, good footwear etc.
Oh, and I've left it too late to get the cheaper prices on the web so I'll have to pay on the gate.
Many thanks.
Lisa
