Apparently a green glow could be seen near the south coast the other night, there was some photos posted on the BBC website and while most were taken from Scotland there was one from Lewes in Sussex. We had a nice clear night locally but although I looked for it I didn't see anything. Would really love to see it though.

Next time set up the camera for a long exposure. Sometimes it's not so easy to see with the naked eye at the lower latitudes but the camera will pic up the glow where it is getting a longer chance to dance about a bit and burn in to the sensor.
