I guys I'm moving to Australia for a year soon and I'll have about 2-300£ to spend on lens before I go ..... Soooo I can't decide would I get more out of a fast telephoto like a sigma 70-200mm f2.8 or would a macro lens of similar (second hand) value be of more use?
I know it depends on what you wanna shoot but there are gunna be plenty of opportunities for both distant (kangaroos) and macro photos (a multitude of lethal bugs) so I figure both will have their bonuses ....
Any thoughts on what would provide more bang for buck ? (Please excuse my re use of a much over used phrase
