Auto white balance +exif

I all, when using Auto white balance, (Canon 600D) and look at the Exif info, it just says White Balance-Auto . Is there anyway to find which White Balance the camera used ?.

If you're shooting in raw, I think you'll be able to get it by just opening in a raw editor.

I wouldn't know how to get it from a jpeg.

if you're shooting raw the camera will choose it's own WB (i.e. auto) for display purposes, but in effect it is RAW data so you can set the WB after in post processing.

It's a good question. It's something I've never thought about when using auto WB - I just accepted what the camera chose and if I wanted to change it in LR3, then I did by eye and not to a default value.
