Yes
I have a Fuji S2 Pro with a Nikon 28-100mm lens. I notice on a few threads, people talking about some lenses no auto focusing on certain models of Nikons. Is this also something I should be aware of on my Fuji or will all lenses auto focus with it?

That only really applies to the smaller Nikon bodies, like the D40/D60 etc that don't have an internal af motor.

Ok cool. I wondered if my Fuji was just a rebranded Nikon as it has a Nikon mount. Thank you

your fuji is just a rebranded nikon with fuji sensor and processor inside, but a D100 if I remember right... but yeah, nothing to worry about, it's just the newer smaller nikons that don't have the built in motor.

I swear that my two touch 80-200 f28 focused faster on my fuji s2 pro with a battery grip replacing the 2 cr batteries, before I got the battery grip I always avoided using non hsm lenses because I felt that they struggled to focus quickly enough....all in my mind possibly but I dont think so.
