Nicely seen. Nicely framed. And I think the muted, diffused lighting is definitely on its favour. The only problematic feature is the way the nicely contrasting leaves in the background are brighter than the main subject matter. I think I'd have tried to ensure they were more shaded in the taking.

i think really a tripod would have put this in a nikon class shot
you say handheld so i can sympathise not all of the detail in all of the item is sharp
and what Romney says also...do some burning and all will be well...and some discreet dodging
seems like a hassle i know but i do it all the time...:)
