I realise the colour / greyscale mix can sometimes be seen as naff but after careful consideration i decided it worked in this case...glad you guys agree

I absolutely HATE selective colour in all of its guises.

But that second shot is actually ok.... I think it's because it's a nice mixture of natural colours, rather than the usual absolutely stupid selective coloured pictures you see.

The first is cool, but you used flash, or it looks like you did. Why?

Jaffster - just felt i needed a bit of help lighting her face as the backlight left her underexposed, guess i could have spot metered her face and let the back go over.

That red coat looks a little pink to me. Meant to be that colour? Nice shots all teh same.. I'm just wondering if that's meant to be redder.

I used the 85mm F1.8 Jez - why can't all monitors just be standard
