Autumn Shots

Tried my hand at autumn shots yesterday... Quickly realised i was best to under expose the shot from what the camera was telling me.

Anyway, i'd like to know how people can help me make my next attempt any better

Yes, the paints a bit tatty... Add's to her charm though

The mx-5 is a very pretty car, I would have probably put the lights down though

I cant make my mind up whether the red car on 'red' leaves works or not

In terms of general placement, could you remove (clone) the wooden barrier behind the car in 1,2&3?

Motor pics aren't really my thing but these are pleasant enough - I agree with the wooden barrier being a distraction.

I thought that about the barrier. Thought it might be difficult to edit out though. I shall have a try tonight!
Got a couple other shots with the lights down, just did some with them up as i like the face it has with them up and i haven't got many with them up

Nice shots of a nice car, and always refreshing to see something other than endless aircraft pictures on this thread too!

I did some of my friends mk1 in the same colour not a few weeks ago actually.

I like number 3 actually, some nice reflections on the car. There is always a danger in this flat light on this colour car for it to end up looking a bit dull on the paintwork, as you'll notice in your last 2 photos.

Great work though, and pretty location.

Agree about the colour sometimes looking flat. I've had that trouble a few times. Thanks too

I had a bash at removing the barrier as suggested!
