I havn't read many replies but here's what I do;
Nearly all my shots are shot in Av so that I can control my aperture, so I can control what is in and out of focus and in most cases ISO and Shutter Speed doesn't matter.
When shooting sports, it's TV to control shutter speed, in which case I don't always mind what APerture or ISO I use (if tehre's a fence I'll shoot Manual to have the shutter speed I want whilst having an aperture to shoot through the fence).
I shoot Manual in a few of my shots, mainly lower light so I can control ambience with my shutter speed and flash with my aperture. Or if it's Long Exposures, or just something a little different.
