avast updating.

It can update for me as often as it likes :)
 
yaaarrrggghhh

^^^ the main reason I can't used avast, making pirate noises whenever it pops up to do anything can 'worry' people :p

how sad, most folk would find it reassuring !
 
It wouldn't be of any use if the virus database didn't update frequently.

The blue pop-up box doesn't bother me in the slightest.
 
The updating does not bother me, it just seems to be updating a lot more than it used to?

It has been slowing my laptop up everytime it updates, but after checking it appears for some reason only to recognise half of my memory? Look like I'll have to buy a couple of memory sticks.

I ditched AVG for slowing down my system and have never noticed Avast having any effect on my laptop.
 
I also ditched AVG for Avast on my PC and laptop, it does update very frequently but the way i look at it is if it's available why not ? i don't have any problems with it as yet, now maybe i shouldn't have said that :lol:
 
If it does the job its there for, for me it can update as often as it wants. :cool:
