Not posted on here in a while, in that time I've been getting progressively better (I think) with the D750 and 200-500.

Got myself out in this poor weather recently and got myself to the runway visitor park at Manchester airport to grab some moody photos, I'm really please with how they've come out, there's definitely a few favorites. I was really looking forward to getting on of the Emirates 777 but the rain came down so heavy that me and the camera got drenched and the photos look a bit naff because the rains made it all a bit blurry.

The reason I took some shots with that busy foreground is because otherwise you never get a perspective of size, all these mightily impressive jets taxing past me and in the photos they just end up looking like planes, but in this one of the Qatar I took, I think you get a real sense of size. Gonna try some new locations around the airfield over the coming weeks and see if I can find some clearer shots.
