On the Brownsea lagoon last week

I like it Stan, the walking pose gives a nice little extra to the frame.

It just needs a little anti-clockwise rotation and maybe a bit more negative space above to balance the space above and below,

+ 1 to that Stan - just needs a little more work to get the best out of it

I thought I had cropped top and bottom the same but looks like I miscalculated

The shot is in fact level - I couldnt go by the end of the bill as part is missing from the reflection but the tip of the tail of the bird and reflection are spot on the perpendicular according to photoshop

Lovely shot. Approx how close was the bird? Whenever I have seen one they are "miles" away on the other side of a lake out is reach of a long lens.
