awesome deal from Fuji on the x-pro 1

And if anyone wants to offload a 60mm or 18mm then let me know - I have a wanted thread open.

I'm bidding on a 60mm at the moment with a day or so to go. If that falls through I'll pay 400 for a 60mm. I'm less sure about the 18mm but let me know
 
If only I had some spare £££! This is a great offer for someone wanting to get up and running with the Fuji system - argh!
 
It is a bit fantastic isn't it? I'm looking and thinking, hmm ... buy it, with the 35mm ... get the 60mm ... FREE!!! got to be a catch

I don't think there's anything suspicious. All deals of this type will ask for proof of purchase.

To my mind it looks like Fuji have had encouraging sales and feedback in the first few months and fixed a lot of initial glitches with V2 firmware. They are extremely serious about establishing the X series as a serious alternative to the traditional DSLR dominance at the high end and have made a marketing decision to give it a boost. I have had a couple of long plays with the camera (and yes I am buying from the shop that allowed me to play) and was extremely impressed with the picture quality.

I was one of those who liked the concept but thought the initial cost high. With the sale of my existing Canon kit I could fund an X-Pro body and one lens and this offer is the final sweetener.
 
Just sold 98% of my Nikon kit, and just bought the x-pro1 with the 18mm, will claim the 35mm. I hope is what I want?
