Just stepped out for a smoke. Red Arrows low level about 1000 yrds away. Rich Blue Sky low Sun coming from behind me, all gleaming like they had just come through the local Polish car wash. Shall I grab camera from bag Na just sit and enjoy the view

I thought you'd be totally used to such missed moments by now Rich! Murphy's Law always rules, everywhere, all the time. It just does. Like just today I have missed a Kite in the tree opposite my house, an Aston Vantage doing a burnout from Waitrose and a Sparrow Hawk over the local tip. Murphy is God and we are not.

He's still a complete bas***d though

They did the same to me! Then proceeded to do a fully blown display over Weston Super Mare. I was sat in my tanker, cameraless, but enjoying the show!
