Rather positive!
I had planned on getting a dual camera spider system but as the flash centre failed to get me one or even keep me informed on the progress I decided to take advantage of an offer price on amazon for two b-grip evo systems. And after the usual home trial and one pre wedding shoot, I have to say I'm 90% happy.
There is no specific dual kit afaik so I bought two, one belt is therefore redundant while the two holsters fit perfectly on the supplied belt. I prefer this at the moment to attaching them to my trouser belt. You do have to fold away the excess belt to tidy it up as you can't feed it into the "offside" holster a second time.
Clearly if you only had one holster the belt would tuck nicely into its loops etc but as that side is not taken up by another holster in my case, I have to fold the excess inwards and tuck away, not an issue at all and not unsightly.
The units themselves are solid, plastic but absolute solid. They do have a few slots for other configurations too. They look good.
The plate that fits to the camera has a rubber stopper and you tighten the nut with a coin or similar. My plate fits my monopod which is brilliant. it also has a flip out stand for table shots, nothing mega but decent for careful use.
The two part locking system seems great. It does take two hands to release quickly but this is good. I am not 100% happy only because I have to adjust slightly from the dual strap system which was that bit faster for me switching cameras to shoot fast.
It takes seconds to change with the b-grip so I'll get used to it soon enough.
Also it seems absolutely stable, I don't fear it failing/falling etc. It sits well fully loaded with two bodies, d700/d300S. The bigger the thigh I imagine the more comfy. But its easy to adjust it even if you're pegs aren't strong.
It definitely looks good, takes all the weight off your back and neck, frees that up if need be.
I'm very happy and for two body shoots I'll be using it. My biggest lenses are 85mm 1.4 and 24 1.4, the rest smaller. They are fine with this. I read the 70-200 2.8 is no problems either.
I'd recommend the B-Grip Evo. As I got mine around 37 each, I'm very happy and at that price they're well worth trialling.
