That's a lovely shot of Penmon lighthouse. :) It's one of my favourite spots to visit but I've not been there for a while now... Must get back soon.

Cant fail to be impressed by the images produced by this, thanks to everyone who posted an image.

I really want one, but am unsure what size to get :P (might have to invest in a wide angle lens first haha)

Im kind of in the same boat but doubt i will be able to afford a wide angle so will have to make do with my 17-70, the temptation is too great!

What great pictures. I carnt wait, mines on order should get next month may :)

Who have you ordered it with, i emailed Warehouse Express and they said they had no delivery date available

10 stop filters are not just good for landscapes, there are other things you can do with them too :).

This is a 2 minute exposure (IIRC ) taken in quite bright artificial, entitled "Ghost Train" :naughty:.

Even in full daylight, you can get a fair degree of motion blur going on. Try doing this without a 10-stopper ;) ....

77mm and step up rings is the best way to go if you have different sized threads for your lenses.

Thats an idea, are the rings easy to set up?

You just screw them in like a normal filter and then screw the 77mm into it. Couldn't be simpler.

Do they create vignetting at the wider focal lengths?

I've never noticed any problems, but I've only gone from a 62mm thread to a 77mm thread. Going from a 72 to 77 might be different.

Now this is why I've been thinking about buying one.

I want to do some modern versions of 19th century street photos with long exposures in full daylight.

Short answer is yes... I get a bit of vignetting at extemely wide focal lengths but some of it can be removed in post.

I crop a lot of my 10-stop shots to 2:1 which removes the problem anyway. :)
