I'm quite new to all this but I like the photo although it may be a little dark?

The composition is great, I like the crop to the right. He's a very cute boy alright!
As for some C&C:
The dark patch on the right is disturbing (to me) and the reflection in the left eye feels a bit weird. Was it lighted from the side?
That being said the black background looks real clean and not too much spill.

Agree with your comment Ellekes, the reflection is from a flash in a white brolly about 1/2 mtr from jack on his left side, will be aware of this in future, thanks.

yea , i like it scotty, will try this crop on the next ones i do, but agree with ellekes about the reflection in his eye being distracting, but thank you!
