Can anyone explain to me what the numbers/letters mean
Here's whats on mine
110 ND3.0 -10BL 1,000x
I'm curious ,tried a search but lost my patience
I think 110 is just the product code.
ND3.0 is the optical density, which is the same as ten stops, which is 1000x reduction in exposure (technically 1024x).
B+W do two ten stoppers I think. The regular jobbie which is uncoated and a little warm, and a really nice multi-coated one that's a bit pricey.
