B29 Superfortress Overexposed

Whilst in the Peaks last week walked up to the crash site of the B-29 Superfortress "Overexposed" which is on Bleaklow.

Excellent , went up there myself a few days ago

its a very though provoking place

the B and W suits these very well

Powerful images. The blown out sky even works here - it adds to the starkness.

Interesting photos there, and yes the B&W does suit the story well. Good work.

Slightly o/t, but I'm surprised some scrote hasn't ever tried to pinch those bits.

where abouts in the peaks are these its something i wouldnt mind seeing before they vanish..

They are situated on the top of Bleaklow about two miles from the A57 Snake Road. Believe they can be seen on Google Earth or do a Google search and you should get all the info you need to find the site.
