Hi Guys,
I just wondered if you had any recco's for Universities in the UK which offer photography BA Degree courses?
Thanks for your help

I'm pretty sure I know someone who did it at Portsmouth and liked it :) maybe do a google search?

There is a young lady on here, Beefykoala, who I believe is doing a degree course at Manchester Uni. Maybe a PM as I haven't seen her around for a while.

Bolton is not bad, they have just had to move campus so have very modern facilities, new darkrooms, 4 new studios, not loads but a good selection of lenses to borrow, home light set ups etc. Great tutors that are very helpful.

Its a bit messy at the moment as there are builders here putting the finishing touches to the new photography department. But it is a great place to be on a whole.

We even had one girl who did a foundation year here in Bolton, then went to Manchester for Photography BA first year. However she left because she didnt like it there. Not a lot of tutor help apparently.

Did mine at Carmarthenshire College (CCTA) and it was brilliant. Great location for landscape work, good tutors, fairly good facilities and the BA only took 3 years, two of which were spent getting my HND. Think it's called West Wales College of the Arts now

Bournemouth Uni does one this much i know...

The Documentary Photography course in Caerleon (Newport Uni, South Wales) was a good'un from what I know... I was going to swap to it, didn't, but wish I did. But I did spend most of my time in the dark room there!

In Edinburgh there is Napier Uni (where I did mine) or Edinburgh College of Art.
