Babies, babies, baies

I have dabbled with many areas of photography but want to start taking some pics of friends and families babies - can anyone recommend any good books or ideas of props. Thanks

For a prop i would use the parents!! lol

Never used props myself.

Toys are always a good prop. Unless you're doing studio stuff, it's also worth noting that unless they're asleep, babies tend to move quicker than you'd expect, so experiment with shutter speeds and iso's.
