Baby snake in the house

Found this little snake in the house this morning. Wife freaks out, but of course I grab my camera and the Canon 70-300mm.

Pardon my non-steady hands , and I left the IS in mode 1 so the IS was fighting my panning a bit.

Anybody can identify what snake it is?
