Anyone found this thing suddenly appearing and taking over from Google etc. What a bloody performance I just got rid of the sodding thing I hope.
Downloaded the latest Spybot after trying all sorts of other things and that seems to have nailed it.

Anyone know anything about it, some say its a virus/malware thing.
 
yeah probably just a browser hijack to get you to go to other sites instead of the ones you wanted.

it may be worth resetting passwords to sites you vistited while you had this malware as it may have redirected alsorts. also worth checking your hosts file for entries (however if you have spybot youll probably find its put 1000's entries in there and it may slow down your browsing, personally id uninstall and install malwarebytes instead).

This happened to me and in the end i went into the c drive and deleted the program files for it
 
Disable it in toolbars and accelerators uninstall from cpanel and run MB sorted.
