That's a nice rose ok and the light and exposure are both really nice.
There's a whole heap more you can get from it though. Bare with me here because I'm gonna go all hippy on you.
Take a good long look at the flower you're going to shoot. Work out what it is about that particular one that appeals to you. Something about the texture, the form, a part of the shape? Whatever it is, try to show that through the image you make.
It can be a real pain, it can also be a lot of fun.
