Evening all, I'm after a starter backdrop kit and saw this on Amazon. Now I know it's cheap and I know the maxim, but cheap, buy twice, but it's just for home use.
Any input on how good it is or any other recommendations would be appreciated.
It sounds good at that money, but there's a contradiction in the listing. It seems to me to be saying that one of the backgrounds is cotton and that the other is non-woven, but later on it says that they are both non-woven.
Non-woven is a euphanism for "falls apart when you pick it up" so be prepared to have to buy a background to go with the very cheap stand.
I got a Photosel background support of Amazon £35 at the time, now about £68 and a vinyl white/black backdrop of eBay for £45 earlier this year, been a very good combination.

Thank you. All the stands in all their system look the same. Do you think the weight limit is based on the cross bar or are the stands actually different for each of the systems? I have a set of photosel stands but no crossbar, so need to get the correct cross bar to work with a 2m wide vinyl.
Sorry also was the vinyl new or used, if new do you have a link of which one it is.
