Backdrops and Stands

I am thinking of getting a backdrop, mainly for home use as I find that some pics can be spoilt by things like radiators in the background!

I have seen some stands and drops starting at £50 on ebay, come from China though so not too sure on quality. I have seen some in the UK at £75 or so for just the stand.

Has anyone any useful feedback on these, are they all much of a muchness? Not using this in a serious commercial way so no need to spend a fortune.

I use the Lencarta ones, simply because there is a choice of having 2 or 3 bars (1m each) across, so it does not have to take up most of the room! No idea about the others though.

quick hijack I am after a cheap sky and clouds type one, have been so disappointed with the kids school piccys that I said with a little practise and the right backdrop we will do our own, friends are also interested in me doing this so I could end up getting a few bottles of port from it :D

anyone know the best place to look?

I am on work laptop so cant remember the sites, but ebay have some, and a quick google search will help.

I bought this from warehouse express.

Its an adjustable reflector arm that attaches to a light stand. It would take a pop up background too no problem. Its sturdy and easily adjustable and easy to re-posn a reflector.

As for the backgrounds themselves, I can't help I'm afraid ad I don't have one as yet.
