Critique Background removed

Looks to me like a stuffed head mounted on the wall of a hunting lodge - sorry. Would prefer to see some context I think.

It's not natural looking, but I like it.

As it stands I would agree with this comment. I wonder if it was cropped so that the black round the neck was removed and so looked like the head and body were still attached would make a better image.

Echo above and its also "rough" on the editing out - especially down the nose

I can see what you are trying to achieve Simon and I think it just needs some refining.

I think the cutting out is too harsh/straight especially on the nose and under the chin. You need to keep the texture which won't be easy.

I think you then need to fade out towards the neck/body - as others have said otherwise it looks severed.
