Background Support - What do you use?

Yes
I've been searching both on the web and on here for general information on background supports and have seen various makes ranging from £50 up to about £200, but still do not feel any closer to making a selection.

I have a budget of £150 to buy a 3 metre wide background support system and wondered what people here use. Have you bought a random brand e-bay for £50 and 100% happy (or not), or have you bought something more expensive and wondered what is all the fuss is or possibly very happy with the quality?

I dont mind spending good money on a good system, but if no point would rather buy the cheaper version and spend the rest on different colour backdrops. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Assume you want this for studio use? If you may want to take this out the studio, the photodeals one may be good - a 2.2m x 2.2m collapsable with a 2.5m train - 1 side black 1 side white.

I already have one of these collapsible black/white things with trains and looking to expand a bit. I'm looking for this to be effectively portable and want to use the 2.7 metre paper rolls on it, where initially I'll have the usual standard white, want to expand my range to some very mid tone grey, brown, and possibly a yellow.

I use a Lencarta support, it's really good quality and very sturdy. £80 I think it cost me.

SAME HERE!! Cost me £75 I believe, and it's really strong and stable, plus it comes in a great carrying case

I used to use the tripod/pole setup but really didn't find it stable, especially with kids running around etc

I now use these in the studio and love them:

Thanks for posting these up but I'm yet to have a permanent studio.

I like the look of these being a name brand at a reasonable price. I guess using a paper roll on these is no problem?
