Backing up your media cards on the go.

Been looking for an external hard drive type contraption for backing up my camera's media card whilst on the go without the need for a laptop or PC. I stumbled across this adapter for the iphone which allows you to transfer, veiw and copy media from a card to the phone etc.

Has any body got one of these? http://zoommediaplus.com/ Are they any good? Can anybody recomend another method?

I have a 320GB NextoDI. Wouldn't have any of the functionality of that one you linked to - you can't view the pictures or do anything with them! But it's lightning fast to download cards and just gives peace of mind

I use a netbook and a card reader. I have PSE2 loaded onto the netbook too, so I can do basic edits (crop and add text) before printing off individualised postcards. IIRC, the netbook has a 60GB HDD (I take a 250 gig external as well) - plenty for a fortnight's holiday snapping. Has the added benefit of giving me web access when I'm in range of a wi-fi hotspot where I can get hold of the password!

Thanks for the replies guys. Lauren, that looks like a good piece of kit and reasonably priced too. Nod, I don't really want the hassle of taking a netbook with me. We are due to go to NY for five days in Feb. and I am looking to travel light. I will have my iphone4 with me and thought the adapter idea could be a cost effective way of backing up my media cards onto my phone whilst I am there. I dare say I wont really need to but belt and braces and all that
