Backup program for mac

I need a program that will back up my folders on my time capsule to an external drive. I want them to be accessible as normal files. If it could do this only updating changes to the folders when a backup is scheduled that would be even better! I don't want to backup or create bootable images etc, just music and picture folders etc.

Thanks but as stated above that is not what I am looking for. I want to back up the folders already on my time capsule. :)
 
Don't think it works directly on the Time Capsule, but SuperDuper is great for backing up the Mac itself.

Had an issue where it wouldn't see the backup drive and the support was extremely helpful and responsive - more importantly they were able to fix my problem too!

Thanks but my time machine backs up the mac already. I want to specifically incrementally back up the folders on the time machine for safety backup.
 
Carbon Copy Cloner is yer man. It was updated recently and can do in-place incremental backups and either overwrite old versions or archive them

You could look at Integeo Back Up Assistant. It comes free with Lacie drives but a paid for version is also available. You can set so that it backs up your time machine files but it will only back up those files that have changed. You get a set up not unlike Time machine itself. Not sure if you could restore from these files, I suspect not. Alternatively you could get it to back up those critical files you need a copy for security reasons.

I use the paid version works really well for me
 
Chronosync is what I use.
Syncs files across a network on a schedule
 
I didn't get on with Intego software, both the free and paid versions.

My solution for an offsite back up of my Time Capsule is not actually to back up my Time Capsule, I us CCCloner to create a bootable clone of my iMac, from the iMac directly, that way if for some reason the Time Machine back up is corrupted, or I just want to access the files quickly I can.
