bag for a 300 f2.8?

I've just agreed to but a Canon 300 f2.8 IS (won't have it for a couple of weeks) and am now thinking about bags! So can anyone recommend a bag to carry it, with the camera and a 1.4x attached (happy to reverse the hood)? Ideally I want to find the smallest bag that will hold it.

Think tank retrospective 30,

It will fit the lens and extender I think. However I don't think it will fit a camera with the lens attached. It's a great bag if you want to look like your not carrying a load of expensive photography equipment.

Are you after a shoulder bag or rucksack?

I've got a Lowepro Flipside 400AW, I can fit in a Sigma 120-300 with a 1.4x TC attached. Would definitely recommend it but not that small, it's more of a backpack

Very well padded but no room for anything else.

Glass Taxi for the hood reversed, body attached.

But I hardly use it nowadays, preferring the Lowepro 600AW, which takes the 300, camera, TC and hood in shooting position. Sliplock attachments carry bins, TCs and other lenses.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, I have also been recommended the Flipside 300 which will apparently take camera, 1.4x and 300 f2.8 all attached. Given the relatively low price and small size I think I'll try that one when I cut ally get the lens... Just need to sell a few more bits first!
