Bag for Canon 5D MkII & 24-15

Morning folks,

I need to get a bag for the above combo.
I've decided I don't want a backpack anymore. Instead I like the look of shoulder bags.
The ones in particular that I'm interested in are the Lowepro Nova 170/180 AW.

Do any of you guys with a similar body/lens setup use a similar style bag.
I'm curious to know what space will be like inside and if the above combo will fit in.

The only other things that will go in are a 430EXII flash and some filters/cards/batteries.

Also if you have any other recommendations feel free to drop them in this thread.

I recently got a Think Tank bag, the Retrospective 10. It takes either my gripped 7D or 1DMkIII, with a 24-105 attached, and has room for a flash, and two other lenses. These can be two from a 70-200 2.8L II, 17-40L, Sigma 10-20 or 17-50 2.8 OS, or a converter or two. Also room for spare batteries, filters, cards etc, and a Gitzo 1542T Traveler tripod goes nicely under the large flap. There's also a handy large zipped rear pocket for phone, wallet etc. Not cheap but a top quality product that will last for years. Non "camera baggish" in the Pinestone colour too.
 
I have a Lowepro Slingshot 100 which with the dividers removed easilly fits my 5D + 24-105 with the hood reversed, i usually squeeze it in with a grip atatched too, but that really is a squeeze. The top pocked easilly takes the 430 EXII and the smaller pocket takes filters/batteries etc. It's a very comfy bag to carry all day. It will also take the gripped body with the 70-200 F4 atatched.
 
I carry a 5D2, 24-105 and 580EX gun as my walkabout combo. Fits perfectly in a Billingam F2.8 bag.

I have the camera lying sideways, base against the back, lens pointing towards one end, hand-grip on top - if you follow. I specifically wanted that, easiest way to grab the camera I find, though you could fit more in with a different configuration.

i've got Nova 160 AW, great little bag, fits in D3100 (small compared to yours) with any of my lens plus 2 more lens without problem.

170 or 180 should be large enough for you, camera+lens, 1 flash, with spare space under your camera handle for bits and bobs.

Hi Stuart

I've the Nova 200 and it sallows a lot of equipement, a very nice bag, wel built and comfortable to carry.

The only grip I have is my FIL has the slightly older version (Nova 4) and the base of his bag has a large rubber sole on it, which appears much better if you are putting it down on anything thats damp, dirty etc
 
I have both the Nova 170 and the Nova 200 for my 600D.

The 170 is my walkabout bag and it fits my camera with 17-55 f2.8 attached and the lens hood with just enough room beside it for my 70-200 f4l. It's a fairly tight squeeze but that's okay as I don't use a camera strap when I use it.

The 200 fits everything, but is heavy to lug about when fully loaded!
