Bag for two Pro (gripped) DSLRs

Hiya

I'm on the hunt for a shoulder bag which will take two pro dlsrs with a lens on each (50mm f/1.2 & 85mm f/1.2)

Any suggestions?

I used to use a Lowepro Stealth Reporter 650AW for my two bodies, that said it was bloody heavy once I added all the other kit.
 
Take both cameras to a bricks'n'mortar store and try them in some bags for fit. Take a copy of a magazine with you (I would suggest AP since it has plenty of retailer ads in it) and see if they will price match your choice of bag. Having used them as a showroom, it's only fair to give them your custom if they're anywhere near in price - you never know when you're going to NEED a decent camera shop!

I did go to my local store today - nothing was
big enough! :(
 
Ah! Do they carry a full range or just a few? Pretty sure that somewhere in the Lowepro range there will be something to suit. Maybe one of the larger Novas?Measure the camera/lens combinations , add them together, allow a little extra for a padded separator and look at the website for internal measurements. If your local store is a Lowepro stockist, they may be able to order one in for you at a decent price - same of course goes for other bag manufacturers.
 
I've an enormous Billingham bag and a smaller lowepro for sale in the classifieds. The Billingham 555 holds two pro bodies with lenses plus space for more, though you don't have to use it. The classifies 200 is a compact top loading shoulder bag and two pro bodies should fit as it can be configured in many ways.

Personally, id have thought something like the Billingham 335 or maybe 445 would be worth a look.

I have a Classified 200 AW and I like it, but it is tight for one pro dslr never mind two! The Billingham looks good but is a lot of money!

If the retrospective 30 fits I think that will be the direction I'll go - £130 new vs £220 secondhand!

Gotta agree, to be honest. The retrospectives look very nice. The Billinghams are a luxury!

I would have thought you could squeeze in two bodies to a Classified (though getting the one at the bottom out would be a game. I've had a 1Ds3 and a 5D2(ungripped) in there. But agreed, it isn't ideal.

I have one of these and would recomend it all the way ...it has a Laptop compartment at the rear too
