Bags (again)

Hi

having just sold all my camera gear and replaced it with new stuff it no longer fits in my bags

I have
Canon 60D with Crumpler Singapore sling strap
Canon 15-85mm
Canon 70-200L
Sigma 105mm Macro
Sunpak Pf30x flash
Usual carp that fills up the bag

I currently have a Crumpler Long Schlong and Tamrac Aero 70 backpack

I love the quality of the Crumpler but the material is very course and starts to annoy by the end of the day (everything just about fits in if i wedge it in)

The Tamrac is too small and lightweight for suitable protection and I find backpacks a bit of a pain for changing Lens quickly

Any thoughts on a suitable bag that wont cost the earth but will protect the gear

I have a simlare list of equipment and it all fits in a Flipside 300. These were on Amazon at a good price a couple of months back (£40 I think).

I bought Thinktank Retrospective 30 not so long ago and love it. Its not the cheapest but very good quality, you can fit a lot inside and also does not look like a typical photo bag.

You could always save some more and buy later.

Have a look on YouTube as you can find many reviews there. I do like my retrospective bag and can't see me changing it for anything else anytime soon

EDIT: oh, forgot to add that there are also Retrospective 20 and 10 on the market, which are a little bit smaller than 30 and also cheaper IIRC. Good luck

After a day of farting about trying bags and all sorts I plumped for

it ticked all the boxes even if it is a backpack

Its roomy, well built, in price point, carrys a tripod and Lappie

I am using an Think Tank re 20,great bag pick it up £80 as new on forum

Problems can get feel very heavy,on the shoulder with a lot in bag on long day.
Still yet to find the perfect bag,
