i hate them

ijust been looking at that thread about doh purchases!

Ive had 3 bags now

some tamrac shoulder thing
flipside 300 (which i STUPIDLY) sold
tamrac aerospeed 75

i need a bigger bag now so the flipside 400 i think is the one ill future proof myself with

but blimey bag fetish! its a pain!

I bought my first bag and I love it. It was the flipside 200. But as my equipments grow (lol), I got myself a bigger bag. The fastpack 250. And I don't like that bag now because its too bulky. Sigh..

It means ill loose my top compartment for lunch or a coat =/ but gain kit space

ultimately i need to fitt

Gripped 7D with 24-70 & Hood attached for quickness
Canon 70-200 2.8 IS

And my accessories other than that i would LIKE some personal storage space
 
I've just bought a Slingshot 302... are you lot now telling me I need to buy a Flipside? :D

Why don't u look on other brands? I heard the kata is good :D
 
I bought a Kata 466i recently after using a Lowepro Fastpack 100, needed something that can carry my laptop on holiday. Its great, carrys the camera and extra equipment, some personal items, laptop and documents, and even a smallish tripod. Plus it doesn't look like a proper camera bag which I like.

As for me, I never use any brands besides the lowerpro bags. I have 3 of them n I only like one. The flipside is safe and its very easy to use too. Just that there's no compartment for my laptop. That's why I bought the fastpack. Try n look for the fastpack 350 version. It's bigger than mine. Surely u can pack most of your gears in it.
 
As you have the Tamrac Aerospeed 75 already, would the Aerospeed 85 not be sufficient?

it seems as though all that adds is a laptop compartment of which i dont own

i have an imac and that wont go in a bag :lol:

If u don't need an extra laptop compartment, then go with the flipside. It's a great safe bag!

but then ill loose my lunch and jacket compartment .. so it becomes 100% a camera bag not a 50/50 split ..

This is harder than I thought. Hmmm why don't u try the fastpack 350 see if it fits your needs. U can certainly put the camera on the lower compartment, your lunch and jacket on top, and perhaps some documents on the laptop compartment?
 
I have the Lowepro Fastpack 200.
It has plenty of room.
Currently holds : In lower compartment
450D with 100-400 attached.
10-22mm
50mm

With top section available for lunch etc.

You might want to go for the 300 as your 7D body will be bigger.
