Critique Bailey the Jackchi

Meet Bailey, my Chihuahua/Jack Russel, almost 3 years old being inquisitive around a local lock whilst out on a walk.

I'd like some constructive criticism on how to improve these "chance shots" as it's obviously not posed.

Does the wood distract you from the subject and is the DOF enough?

Hi, it's better if you post the photograph large. There's a thread somewhere his too do it.

Lovely dog. Looks like he's lost his ball.

Little underexposed and I'd get lower.
