2, 4 & 5 really hitting the spot for me Dan, with the eye contact in 2 making it the pick of the bunch. It's also interesting to see the mono/colour mix and wonder how each would look with the alternative processing, so a good set all round!
 
2, 4 and 5 are working for me. They're drawing me in.. making me want to ask questions. There's character, idiosyncrasy, and interest.

7 is OK too... looks a little unsharp, but not a big deal.. hard to tell at this res anyhow... not that I give a damn about stuff like that. If it;s working, it's working... it's not a formal portrait or anything. I bit of blurring or nastiness in street work can actually add to the atmosphere sometimes.

8 is also interesting.... that 70s fibre glass deck... like an old school Skuda board or something... gives it a specialist interest, and also speaks of the retro revival of some parts of skating culture (I was pleased to learn you can buy red Kryptonic wheels again!.... tempted to build a 70s style slalom board with ACS651 trucks and soft red rubbers - ... that probably means nothing to most people LOL).

Nice set of images Dan, with some good B&W PP work. #2, #4, #5, #8, are the shots that work very well for me.(y)

Thanks all your comments are appreciated :) this is the kind of photography which I enjoy most - so I will have to start going out of my way to go out there and do it.
 
Nice set there Dan 2 and 5 are my favourites as I like the processing and I'm intrigued as to what the 2 guys are talking about and where the guy is going with the TV.

Good set of photos, looking forward to see more of Barcelona photos, one of my fav city in Europe.
