I have bought from www.premier-ink.co.uk..... Their service is wonderful, I bought an En-El 1, for my old Nikon Coolpix 5700. The make I had never heard of Blu-Max. I is a very good battery in some ways stronger than Nikon's own.
They do a replacement EN-EL 3a for Nikon D300 at 15.65... which would be either Blumax or Energiser.... All come with a 2 year guarantee.

The EN-EL 3a isn't the correct battery for the D300. You'll need the EN-EL 3e.
In my D70 I have used 7dayshop's own brand EN-EL 3 batteries with no problems. Not sure of the current price for their EN-EL 3e replacements but they're normally quite competitive.

Phottix Titan ones are pretty good, I'm using them in the D300 and the G10 and I used them in the D80 as well
