battery fully decoded???

hi just looking for a spare battery for my d7100 and some say fully decoded what does that mean thanks guys

It means it should charge in your existing charger, otherwise you have to buy a new one to charge it

Means it has the chip in the battery to tell the charger/camera what charge it has left in it. Bit like a fancy volt meter. I wondered the same as well.
