battery grip for 50d

Hi guys,

I have been shooting a lot of portraits recently and would quite like a grip for my 50d, to date I have had no battery life issues so this is mainly for the vertical shutter and other controls.

Reckoning to buy second hand to save moneys and was wondering what people thought and how they got theirs (ie nice cheap suppliers)

genuine 130 ish quid from amazon linky

copy 85 ish quid from amazon clicky

ebay copies 63 with batteries and 53 without

are the ebay ones crap? looks like the ebay one with batteries is the best buy for another 10er (gives me 4 batteries), or is the genuine one worth the difference

Personal preference really, but I'd stick to a genuine grip. They seem to pop up 2nd hand for reasonable money on occasions

not all the third party grips have the additional shutter, wheel and buttons.
