Battery grip

Anyone know where the serial number is on the battery grip for a 5d mk2?

The CPS inventory seems adamant that there is one :shrug:

There isn't one, i insured mine under the miscellaneous items but there is no serial number for it.

Thanks Mondo......very weird how the canon cps site won't let you add a battery grip as an accessory
