I've got a Phottix BP-40D on my 30D / 50D. Good quality piece of kit, felt nicer to use than my genuine grip on my 300D

Sorry, not bought a non genuine one - possibly just sales talk, but was very highly recommmended NOT to purchase an aftermarket one.

I was lucky to find someone who had just upgraded their camera and was selling off their grip, so the difference in cost didn't really play into it.

I used a Meike grip on my 50D and I was always happy with it, As Grubby mentioned the grip from the 30D/40D will also fit.

I've got a Phottix one on my 40D, and it works AOK.

i have a phottix one on my 40D, it's pretty good for what you pay for them, not sure i'll bother getting a canon one now

My 350d has a Phottix attached permanently, feels good and works well cannot fault it in any way.
