Battery hand grip for D3100

Anyone have any suggestions?

Can the ones that say fit the D3000 fit the D3100?

I found the awnser to be no as they dont have the same battery.

One on the bay.... D3100 battery grip but its from the USA thou - and it seems that they wont send outside the USA :bang:

But you could ask...

Yeah i saw Phottix are set to release one, but keep pushing back the date.

However i did see the one you recommend being sold in swansea

The US dude seems to have sold a few of them... Only way to do it is try it & see if not then sell it back on ebay

do you have to have 2 batteries in or can you have just the one, and it still work?

That I'm not sure as I've a D700 with a Nikon MB-D10 - but when I had a ownuser grip for a D40 & that held two batteries but you had to swap them around as it only ran off of one battery...

So, I would imagine that you can have just the one inside as I can't see why not but than again you could always get a 3rd party battery if it needs two to operate (which sounds silly to me if thats the case) but ask the seller he would know more than me on that as its him thats selling the grip... You could bell them on 01158226152 & ask them..

The grip comes with a shutter cable, I thought the D3100 didn't have a port for a remote shutter?

They have combined gps and shutter release into the same slot on the side of the camera.
