I went to a battle re-enactment yesterday at Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, hosted by the Sealed Knot. All of these were shot with a Nikon 70-200 and a D7000 for a bit of extra reach :)

Feedback is always appreciated, but I predominantly just wanted to share these photos as these sorts of photos don't crop up on here very often and I like to do what I can to help keep Britain's heritage and history alive (y)

Ive always wanted to go to a reenactment, its the only way you can go back in time ! :)

Love these, you've captured the atmosphere of it, got a link to the full set? Would love to see more

Coo! I was pink, wasn't I! (And working hard by the looks of it!). Great set, Alex.

I do, I'm currently uploading them all into a set on flickr so it can be linked to for the sealed knot. I'll pop a link on here too once it's finished. In the mean time, have another photo with Sue in it (y)

Yay! Dillon (the horse) has a bit of a wild look in his eye there! Could I be cheeky as ask if I could have a copy of No.2 of the set to print for rogues gallery in my downstairs loo?

Of course, I'll drop you a PM in a moment :)
