BATUS Gazelle.....a first for me.

BATUS now thats a name i haven't heard for a long time not seen a gazelle with red on before

Nice image. Left-seater is obviously chilled, or he's doing hand-signals!
 
A very relaxed instructor all the same, when I did some helicopter time mine didn't take her hand off the collective at all.
 
our driver in the 432 might not got lost but he did hit one of the trees for miles around said it jump out on him (this was back in 1982)
 
When I was at BATUS in 1976 they were still flying Scouts and I drew the short straw to ride as ballast when a Tankie had to be casevaced into Med Hat. Never been so scared as lieing face up on the outboard stretcher :jawdrop:
